This workshop is conducted in a state-of-the-art computer lab at the FAU Boca Raton campus or at the company’s facilities. Participants will learn, through specific problems and a case study, how to develop plans for, and track progress of, single-projects using Microsoft Project 2007©. All necessary materials will be provided. Breakfast and lunch are included when the course is at FAU.
Who Should Attend
- This course is intended for those who use or intend to use MS Project© to actively manage projects. The course is also recommended for individuals preparing for the PMI Scheduling Professional certification*
* Individuals who plan to sit for PMI’s Scheduling Professional Certification Exam will need 35 contact hours of scheduling education. We recommend taking our 3-day Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SPSM) Prep Class (24 PDUs) as an add-on to this class in order to acquire additional relevant knowledge as well as the required contact hours. Students who sign up for both classes will receive a discount of 20%.
Prerequisites
Familiarity with the basics of Project Management (such as PMI® methodology) and Microsoft Office are required. Some exposure to Microsoft Project or other project management tools would be beneficial, but not necessary.
